Originally from England, I studied a Masters Degree in Design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Art in London in my 20’s. Yes. . . . .  it was Fashion Design and yes I still have a passion for fashion & all things design. My academic studies provided me with the necessary knowledge and skills to create in a multitude of ways. When I moved to NZ, I gained recognition as a professional jewellery designer. My work was exhibited in galleries worldwide alongside editorials in magazines such as Urbis, Frankie and British Telegraph and Harpers & Queen. As an artist, maker, art educator and all round creative person I have dedicated over 20 years of my life to sharing my passion and expertise with others through making and teaching. I understand deeply how art has the ability to connect with us on a visceral level and allows us to express ideas and emotions that transcend language and culture.
